Culinary Union Reaches Out To Phillip Dunning of CCIM

Stations workers seek a fair process to determine whether or not to form a union. The company has responded with a vicious anti-union campaign.  Station Casinos is the worst labor law-breaker in the history of Nevada gaming. When Station Casino workers stood up on the job, the company responded with a campaign of intimidation, harassment, and even termination in retaliation for supporting a union.

The Southern Nevada chapter of the CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) holds monthly luncheons at Palms Casino Resort, now owned by Station Casinos. We called Phillip Dunning, President of Southern Nevada CCIM and Associate Vice President at Colliers International, and he left this voicemail in response:

“…and furthermore we are not party to your dispute and will not take a position in your dispute, and we find it highly offensive that you’re contacting our members.”

Thousands of Culinary members, clergy and community allies have held demonstrations and acts of civil disobedience in support of Station Casino workers. Customers are also supporting this struggle for fairness by not patronizing Stations.
