50,000 Union workers to strike if new contract demands are not met by midnight

A Union contract, currently covering 50,000 Culinary Union and Bartender Union workers at 34 casino resorts including properties owned by MGM Resorts and Caesars Entertainment will expire at midnight on Thursday.

According to the Culinary Workers Union Local 226, workers want protection in areas like workplace safety, sexual harassment, and immigration. They also want a cut of the large anticipated payout from the Trump tax windfalls.
