FOX 5: Culinary Union sets strike deadline for 35K Las Vegas hospitality workers

“We have a strike fund, it’s significant, " said Culinary Union Secretary-Treasurer and Chief Negotiator Ted Pappageorge. “We’re in great shape on our strike fund.”

“Preparation for a Culinary and Bartenders Unions Citywide Strike intensify as no additional big table negotiations are currently scheduled with MGM Resorts, Caesars Entertainment, and Wynn Resorts,” the union said in a news release Tuesday morning.

According to the Culinary Union, the event would mark the largest hospitality worker strike in U.S. history.
